FINANCIAL SUPPORT DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS
Proof of funding may come from a variety of sources depending on student needs. CCA will not create an I-20 form which is required for your F-1 visa application until we have received this documentation.
The Community College of Aurora reserves the right to reject any financial documentation submitted for the purposes of issuing an I-20.
Bank Statements used to document, cost of tuition, fees, books, supplies, and health insurance must meet the following criteria:
- Be in English, or in the original language with a certified English translation stamped by the financial institution.
- Bear a signature, official seal, or be on letterhead from an official agency.
- Be currently accessible personal liquid funds.

Please note, that if documentation indicates significant balance fluctuations or low balances on the statement, the college will ask for additional months’ worth of statements to demonstrate funds are regularly available.
If sponsorship for any funding is from a government or other sponsoring agency, a signed copy of the scholarship or award letter stating the amount, name of recipient, conditions of sponsorship and duration of award must be submitted. This documentation must be on government/company letterhead and signed by an authorized official.
