You must have adequate financial resources to fund your educational and living expenses as a student. This can include funding from a sponsor(s). Students on the F-1 Visa are not typically authorized for off-campus employment and financial aid is not available.

You and/or your sponsor(s) are required to upload financial documentation on the next page of this application. You must provide a bank statement showing that you have enough funds to attend CCA for 1 year (which is equivalent to 2 semesters). Depending on your starting level and program, you can be enrolled at CCA for 2+ years. You must also ensure that adequate funding is available for additional years at CCA. Housing Sponsor

You indicated that you will live with a local sponsor while you attend the Community College of Aurora. Please ask your sponsor to complete the form available at: https://CCAurora.formstack.com/forms/housing_sponsor_form

Student Plan

The student plan is a typed and signed statement from the student discussing what your plan is if you lose your sponsor (financial sponsor, local living sponsor, or both). Please explain where you will obtain backup funds or that you understand that you must return home if you can no longer pay for school or have a place to live. This is required because the government requires students to be able to support themselves and you are not allowed to receive any public assistance while on the F1 visa.
